Vaccination Requirements - Cats

Your cat should be at least five months of age, desexed and have current vaccinations.  It should have had the complete course of the vaccination called F3.  This vaccine covers Feline Respiratory Disease and Feline Enteritis.
Initial kitten shots (when kitten is less than 16 weeks of age)
6-8 weeks: Feline Respiratory Disease & Feline Enteritis
12 weeks:   Feline Respiratory Disease & Feline Enteritis
16 weeks:   Feline Respiratory Disease & Feline Enteritis

The kitten can be boarded 14 days after the last vaccination as long as it is a minimum of 18 weeks old.

Initial adult shots (when cat is over 16 weeks of age)

Day 1:         Feline Respiratory Disease & Feline Enteritis
Day 14-28:  Feline Respiratory Disease & Feline Enteritis

The cat can be boarded 7 days after the last vaccination.

If an adult cat is having its annual vaccination after completing the initial course correctly, it may board immediately after vaccination if an inactivated vaccine is used.  Should an activated vaccine be used the cat cannot be boarded for a least 7 days after the vaccination.

Verification that these vaccinations have been completed is required and we ask you to present the last vaccination certificate, before or, at the time of boarding.  Vaccination histories may be faxed directly to Kalgoorlie Pet Motel on 08 9022 8230.
